Processing purposes

Bluebits bv collects and processes the personal data of customers for customer and order management (including customer administration, tracking of orders/deliveries, invoicing, monitoring of solvency, profiling, and sending marketing and personalized advertising) and of users of the offered software, with or without a license (including for error analysis, usage analysis, and combating fraud and violations).

Legal basis(es) for the processing

Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract), (c) (necessary to comply with a legal obligation), (f) (necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interest in conducting business) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Transfer to third parties

If necessary for the achievement of the stated purposes, the personal data of the customer/user will be shared with other companies (of the Bluebits bv group) within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly connected to Bluebits bv or with any other partner of Bluebits bv; Bluebits bv guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data.

Retention period

The personal data will not be kept longer than necessary for normal business operations.

Right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability of personal data

The customer/user has the right to access their personal data at any time and can (have them) corrected if they are inaccurate or incomplete, have them deleted, restrict their processing, and object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1 (e) or (f), including profiling based on those provisions. Furthermore, the customer/user has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format) of their personal data and to have the personal data transmitted to another company.

In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer/user is asked to:

to adjust the settings of his account himself; and/or
to send an email to the following email address: privacy@bluebits.be;

Direct marketing

The customer has the right to object free of charge to any processing of their personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.

Complaint

The customer/user has the right to file a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels - commission@privacycommission.be).
