Trikker version V1.5.99 is now available.

Version Trikker V1.5.99 marks a new step in the evolution of the software. This update combines an important technical evolution with several functional improvements aimed at enhancing the daily user experience.

                        Download & Install Trikker

From a technical perspective, Trikker now migrates to the Microsoft .NET 10 platform, providing a modern, stable and secure technological foundation for future developments of the software.

This version also introduces several new capabilities, such as the possibility to draw lines directly in the single-line diagram, as well as the first foundation for the future automatic application update mechanism.

At the same time, several improvements have been implemented to:

  • improve the stability and behaviour of the software

  • simplify certain daily operations for users

  • align some elements with the AREI / RGIE 2026 regulations

  • address several points reported by users

Below you will find the complete overview of the new features, improvements, and fixes included in this release.

New features

ID 392 - Line drawing in the single-line diagram

Until now, it was not possible to directly connect circuits or symbols in the Trikker single-line diagram using a simple line. In practice, some users worked around this by placing several floating cable segments or by using characters in the text tool to visually represent a connection.

With this new version, Trikker introduces a line drawing tool that allows you to quickly and easily draw lines directly in the single-line diagram. This makes it much easier to visually link symbols or circuits and to create clearer and more readable diagrams.

ID 399 - Electrical system definition for non-residential installations (AREI / RGIE 2026)

For non-residential installations, it is now possible to define the electrical system within the dossier. This helps ensure compliance with the AREI / RGIE 2026 requirements. The field is available as a selectable list with suggested values (TN, TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S, TT and IT) while still allowing manual input if needed.

ID 430 - Automatic update check

Trikker can now check if a new version of the software is available. When a new version is detected, the user receives a notification and can choose to install the update immediately or postpone it.

This functionality prepares the foundation for future automatic updates in upcoming versions.

Improvements

ID 364 - Migration to the .NET 10 platform

Trikker now runs on Microsoft’s latest technology platform (.NET 10), providing improved security, enhanced stability, and a modern foundation for future software improvements.

ID 176 - Event logging standardized to UTC time

To improve the reliability of event logs, Trikker now uses a single time reference (UTC) for all recorded events. This avoids possible differences caused by time zone conversions and ensures more consistent activity logs.

ID 350 - License key length validation

The license key input has been improved by introducing a maximum length for the input field. This ensures the user interface remains stable and prevents excessively long values from being entered. The input is now automatically limited to the expected length of a valid license key.

ID 398 - Differential protection terminology updated according to AREI / RGIE 2026

The terminology used for differential protection has been updated to comply with the official AREI / RGIE 2026 terminology. The previous wording has been replaced with the official term referring to residual current operation. This update aligns Trikker with the latest regulations while maintaining full compatibility with existing dossiers.

ID 460 - Improved labeling for cable fire reaction properties in the library configuration

In the library configuration, some parameter labels have been improved to avoid confusion. The properties related to the fire reaction of cables are now more clearly named to better distinguish between cables installed in conduits and cables installed openly.

ID 466 - Updated contact details aligned with Trikker branding

All remaining references to the old Bluebits contact details have been replaced with the new Trikker contact information. The addresses info@trikker.be and www.trikker.be  are now used throughout the application and documentation. This change ensures consistent branding and makes it easier for users to access support, the ticketing system, the blog, and the forum.

Bug fixes

ID 324 / 444 - Fix for circuit limit in the demo version

An issue has been fixed in the demo version where the maximum limit of 5 circuits was not always applied correctly. In some situations, the warning message remained visible after removing a circuit or the maximum number of circuits could no longer be reached. This behaviour has now been corrected so that the counter and the limitation message work consistently again.

ID 468 - Fix for compatibility issue when opening certain dossiers

An issue has been resolved where some dossiers could not be opened in the latest version of Trikker while they opened correctly in previous versions. This situation could occur for dossiers containing specific DWG plans. Compatibility has now been restored so these files can be opened normally again.

ID 454 - Missing translation when activating with a different license key

An issue has been resolved where some text was not correctly displayed when activating with a different license key. The missing translations have been added so that messages now appear correctly in all supported languages.
