Trikker V1.5.97 is now available. This update introduces a major change in the way Trikker manages user licenses. It brings a modern, more flexible licensing system, along with a set of improvements and fixes designed to optimize the overall experience.
A new licensing model: simpler, clearer and more flexible
Until now, Trikker used a licensing system based on files sent by email. This approach sometimes caused difficulties such as expired files, conversion requirements, or confusion during renewal.
Starting from version 1.5.97, Trikker adopts a more modern approach. Licenses are now managed through activation keys.
You can purchase a license directly from the official Trikker website, choosing between annual or monthly plans.
The monthly license allows you to use Trikker for a limited period, with flexibility, no long-term commitment and at a reduced cost. This is especially useful for occasional users or short-term projects.
Once your purchase is confirmed, your activation key is immediately available in your user account, under the “Your Licenses” section.
To activate Trikker, simply start the software, open the Extra tab, enter your activation key, and the software will automatically validate your license with our server. Within a few seconds, the demo limitations disappear and Trikker switches to the full version.
This new system offers more reliable activation, clearer management and eliminates the need for old activation files entirely.
What’s New in Trikker V1.5.97
Beyond the new licensing model, this version brings several practical improvements across the software. These updates aim to clarify certain behaviors, simplify daily work, and address various issues reported by users.

ID 29 – Custom trigger curves
It is now possible to manually enter trigger curves for circuit breakers, limited to 2 characters.
ID 30 – New symbol: normally closed contact
An official symbol for a normally closed contact has been added to the library.
ID 31 – New symbol: lightning protection
The “Bliksembeveiliging” lightning protection symbol is now available.
ID 33 – New cable property: “Tube Characteristics”
You can now specify additional characteristics for tubes containing cables.
ID 39 – New Symbol: “Stekker”
A basic plug symbol has been added to the library.
ID 93 – New values for “Automatic Switch”
This symbol can now be converted into a push button or an emergency stop button.
ID 329 – Activation of the big paper format
The ability to work or print on paper sizes larger than A3 can now be enabled directly in the user settings.
Improvements
ID 27 – Alphabetical sorting of control bodies
The list in Document → Controller is now sorted alphabetically.
ID 28 – Updated RGIE/AREI Tterminology
“Situatieschema” is replaced with:
- Situatieplan in Dutch
- Plan de Position in French
ID 37 – Improved “Search…” button
The button now works even if the symbol exists only in the single-line diagram.
ID 38 – More accurate positioning of doors and windows
Elements now snap into place more precisely in floor plans.
ID 43 – Direction reversal for circular stairs
The direction can now be changed via right-click.
Bug fixes
ID 34 – Correct display of domotics address
The address is now correctly displayed in compact mode.
ID 222 – Undo fix after rotations
Undo now works correctly after multiple rotation actions.
ID 223 – Selection frame update during resizing
The frame around an element now adjusts properly when its width is modified.
